Intermountain Health is an integrated, not-for-profit health system with hospitals and clinics throughout the Intermountain West.

Based in Salt Lake City, Intermountain boasts a medical group, affiliate networks, homecare, telehealth, health insurance plans, and other services, along with wholly owned subsidiaries including SelectHealth and Intermountain Healthcare in Nevada.

Intermountain is viewed as a leader in transforming healthcare through high quality and sustainable costs.

About This Role

As a Nurse Practitioner - Physician Assistant, Primary Care (House Calls) you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide primary care using your personal vehicles to patient homes throughout Las Vegas. Use of critical thinking skills and strong communication skills are needed.

The role of healthcare providers in outpatient settings, particularly in Las Vegas at Intermountain Health, involves a comprehensive approach to patient care. Each day, providers conduct six in-home visits alongside one virtual consultation, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care for Medicare patients.

This model not only addresses the immediate health concerns of patients but also fosters a supportive environment conducive to long-term wellness. The outpatient setting allows for a manageable caseload that prioritizes quality over quantity, facilitating thorough assessments and interventions. Such an approach is essential for optimizing patient outcomes within the constraints of modern healthcare systems.

This position offers an annual travel stipend of $12,000.

  • Experience with treating patients with multiple co-morbidities by assessing existing conditions; diagnosing new conditions and formulating plans of care.
