Job Description

Location: Racine & Greater Milwaukee
Facility Name: All Saints, Franklin, Elmbrook, St. Joe's, St. Francis, N. 117th, Tosa (float to multiple locations)
- Schedule: PRN
- How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Setting: Outpatient OB/GYN clinic
- Schedule: PRN: 8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Weekends: No weekends
- Call: No call responsibilities
- Extended Hours: No evenings or extended clinic hours
- Patient Volume: Approximately 18–25 patients per day
- Appointment Length: 15- and 30-minute appointments
- Practice Pace: Very fast-paced and busy
- Patient Population: Unique and diverse patient population
- Patient Mix: Strong combination of OB and GYN care
- Practice Environment: Busy, collaborative outpatient clinic with a varied patient population
- Collaborate with physicians to expand individualized primary healthcare services.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic health conditions.
- Obtain comprehensive patient histories and perform assessments through observation, interviews, and physical examinations.
- Order, perform, and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies and laboratory testing.
Provide Preventive Healthcare Services, Including
- Health assessments and screenings
- Immunizations
- Preventive counseling
Ongoing Patient Care and Health Maintenance
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions, including appropriate referrals to healthcare providers and community resources.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers regarding:
- Preventive health and wellness
- Treatment options
- Disease management
Available Community Resources
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and nursing processes in accordance with specialty-specific standards and network nursing policies.

- What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration
Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.

Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions while providing preventive healthcare services in an outpatient OB/GYN setting. They will collaborate with physicians to develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care across the healthcare team.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Nursing and be credentialed as a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing. Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
