- Part-Time | 15–20 Hours/Week | Hybrid | Woodbridge, Virginia
- Looking for a BCBA role where you can focus on clinical assessment without managing a full caseload?
Connect n Care ABA is hiring a BCBA Assessor to join our clinical team in Virginia. This flexible, part-time hybrid role is focused on comprehensive assessments, clinical decision-making, and treatment recommendations - without ongoing case management or supervision responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive initial and reassessment evaluations
- Administer, score, and interpret behavioral and adaptive assessments
- Conduct caregiver and stakeholder interviews
- Observe clients in home, school, clinic, and community settings
- Develop clinically sound treatment recommendations
- Prepare detailed assessment reports
- Determine medical necessity and recommend appropriate service levels
- Collaborate with intake, authorization, and clinical leadership teams
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation
What We're Looking For
- Current BCBA certification in good standing
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Active licensure
- 3+ years of ABA experience, including assessment experience
- Strong clinical writing and documentation skills
- Knowledge of insurance authorization and medical necessity
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Located in Virginia or a bordering state

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
Candidates must hold a current BCBA certification and a Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of ABA experience with specific assessment expertise is required.
