The customized program will be completed at Optum Tri-State facilities in New York and/or virtually with deep exposure to primary and specialty care the practice environment that will require a commitment of only a few hours per month.

Optum NY/NJ was formed in 2022 by bringing together Riverside Medical Group, CareMount Medical and ProHealth Care. The regional alignment combines resources and services across the care continuum – from preventative medicine to diagnostics to treatment and beyond across New York, New Jersey, and Southern Connecticut.

Required Qualifications
M.D. or D.O.
Must be transitioning into their final year of residency or fellowship or early into their final year.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidate will be a local physician resident in New York.
The hourly range for this role is $39.90 - $59.86 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.

Key Responsibilities
The physician will participate in a pathways program to transition from training into practice while learning to operate within a value-based care model. They will contribute to population health initiatives and collaborate with experienced clinicians to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree and be transitioning into their final year of residency or fellowship. Preference is given to local physician residents in New York.
