Duties & Responsibilities
Provide OB/GYN Hospitalist Coverage for Assigned Shifts
- Manage deliveries and perform cesarean sections, D&C, and laparoscopy for ectopic pregnancy as needed
- Collaborate with 24/7 midwifery and backup MD coverage
- Document patient care in EPIC EMR
- Adhere to all facility protocols and credentialing requirements
Key Responsibilities
Provide OB/GYN hospitalist coverage, including managing deliveries and performing surgical procedures such as cesarean sections and laparoscopies. Collaborate with midwifery and backup MD staff while maintaining accurate patient records in the EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified in OB/GYN with an active New York medical license. Previous experience as an OB/GYN hospitalist is required to handle the specified surgical and clinical procedures.
