Other Qualifications: Must be available for coverage Nov 25-29; please note if provider has worked previously at BSMH
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide on-call coverage for OB/GYN emergencies
- Perform routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries
- Make decisions and perform Cesarean sections as needed
- Manage complicated deliveries including breech, multiple births, and abruptions
- Provide GYN call coverage including repair of lacerations
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-call coverage for OB/GYN emergencies and perform routine and complicated deliveries, including Cesarean sections. Manage patient care in an inpatient setting, including GYN call coverage and laceration repairs.
Requirements
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology with an active Kentucky or IMLC license. Requires active DEA certification, BLS certification, and the ability to provide coverage for specific dates.
