Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider – Almara Women’s Health – Haugen OBGYN

Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing healthcare services to patients in the clinic, under direction and responsibility of physician(s).

This is a Part-Time,.85 FTE, role working 3 days a week 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday, Thursday, Friday or 4 days a week 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday out of our Plymouth location.

Almara Women's Health | Haugen OB/GYN is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist physician in the clinic (e. g., room and prep patients; order x-rays; compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination)
• Perform procedures such as suturing and wound care
• Implement patient management plans, record progress, and assist in provision of care
• Consultations with (phone or in-person) patients
• Prescribe medications
• Occasionally participate in community functions relating to outreach events throughout the year.
• Counsel and support patients with the Metabolic Health and Wellness program
• Any and all other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• NCCPA certification
• Minnesota Board of Medical Practice registration/license
• DEA registration

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.

• The pay range displayed reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated for employees working less than a full-time schedule.

Working Conditions

• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.
• Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.
• Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.
• Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e. g., computer, phone, printer).
