- Order and interpret tests and images
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans
Key Responsibilities
The Medical Oncologist will manage patients with malignant oncology and benign hematology, including overseeing bone marrow transplants and blood bank operations. They are also responsible for participating in tumor board meetings and prescribing comprehensive treatment plans.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology and hold an active South Carolina medical license. Proficiency in the EPIC EMR system and current BLS certification are required for this role.
