Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide radiation oncology consultations and develop treatment plans for new and existing patients.
- Administer radiation therapy including HDR brachytherapy procedures.
- Supervise radiation therapists, APPs, and RNs in the cancer center.
- Manage patient census of approximately 3 new consults daily and 18-25 patients on Tuesdays.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for comprehensive cancer care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide radiation oncology consultations and develop treatment plans for new and existing patients. Supervise radiation therapists, APPs, and RNs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
Requires an active West Virginia license or Universal License (IMLC) and Board Certification in Radiation Oncology. Must hold current BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications.
