Position Highlights
- Employed Surgical Oncologist position with the Comprehensive Cancer Center at
- Growth opportunity within an established cancer program and expanding market
- Practice located on the hospital campus for convenient access to surgical and
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Balanced 50/50 split between outpatient clinic and procedural/operative
- Dedicated focus on surgical oncology patients within a multidisciplinary
- Approximately 10 new referrals per week with significant growth potential
- Call responsibilities limited to management of your own patients
- Collaborative multidisciplinary support team available to providers
- Hospital privileges at Desert Regional Medical Center
- Opportunity to mentor and interact with general surgery residents who may
- Residents and fellows encouraged to apply
- Ideal start date approximately 90 days following signed agreement

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in General Surgery or Surgical Oncology, or Board Eligible if
- Fellowship training in Surgical Oncology required
- Eligible for California medical licensure
- Strong commitment to multidisciplinary cancer care
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Requirements
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and have completed fellowship training in Surgical Oncology. Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery or Surgical Oncology and eligibility for California medical licensure are required.
