Logan Health is looking for an experienced Nurse Clinical Informaticist to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you’ll use your nursing expertise to help shape, optimize, and implement technology that supports the way our clinicians deliver care.

You’ll serve as the connection between nursing practice and technology, partnering with nurses, leaders, physicians, and IT professionals to improve workflows, solve problems, and make our clinical systems work better for the people who use them every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a nursing and clinical informatics resource for Logan Health.
  • Partner with nursing and IT teams to evaluate and improve clinical workflows and technology.
  • Support the design, implementation, optimization, testing, and upgrades of clinical information systems and EMR functionality.
  • Identify system and workflow issues, determine root causes, and develop practical solutions.
  • Represent nursing needs and workflow during technology projects and system changes.
  • Support quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives through the effective use of technology and data.
  • Provide education, training, and ongoing support to clinical users.

Collaborate with leaders and frontline clinicians to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.

Stay current with nursing informatics practices, healthcare technology, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.

What You’ll Bring

Required

  • Current Montana RN license or multistate compact RN license with authorization to practice in Montana.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of rec ent acute care nursing experience.
  • Experience with EMR systems, clinical informatics programs, or healthcare technology implementation and optimization.
  • Experience with Meditech PCS, BMV, Order Entry, Meditech Web Ambulatory, or a similar EMR system.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new technologies.

Preferred

  • Nursing Informatics Certification.
  • BSN.
  • Experience supporting EMR implementations, upgrades, optimization, or clinical technology projects.
  • Experience providing clinical technology education and training.

Schedule

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
