Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives.
St. Luke’s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer program’s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.
What You Can Expect
We're looking for a Nurse Navigator to join our Survivorship/Supportive Oncology team! The Cancer Institute’s Supportive Oncology programs really set us apart.
We care for the whole person with support from our Social Work, Integrative Medicine, Psychiatry, Palliative Care, Spiritual Care, Nutrition, Cancer Rehab, and Financial Advocates.
We are seeking a dynamic, oncology-experienced individual who is passionate about identifying ways to connect our adult cancer survivors with the services they need to be supported throughout survivorship.
- Assess barriers to survivorship care and facilitate connections to supportive oncology services, education, resources, and community programs for cancer survivors and their families
- Work closely with our clinical teams
- Focus on services for adult patients with a cancer diagnosis
- Support all five St. Luke’s Cancer Institute sites: Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Fruitland, and Twin Falls (some potential travel)
- Full-time (0.9-1.0 FTE)
- Flexible work schedules available: 5x8s, 4x9s, or a 5x8/4x8 alternating weekly rotation
- No nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays
- Hybrid option
- Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
- Certification pay available (ex. OCN)
Qualifications
- Required Education: Nursing Degree
- Required Experience: Two (2) + years’ RN experience
- Required Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License in the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
- Preferred: Oncology experience and/or OCN certification
