Job Description
This Contingent position will cover both weekday and weekend shifts within Acute Care or Inpatient Rehab. Start/end time is variable but prefer 8 hours total time worked. All staff are required to work at least 1 weekend shift every 4 weeks, 1 holiday per year, and 2 holiday weekend shifts per year.

Role Overview
As a Therapist-Occupational, you'll play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with physical, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial deficits. Your expertise will help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. You'll support patients and their families while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver exceptional care.

What You Will Do
- Assess patients' ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans, including type and frequency of therapy.
- Document patient progress and modify care plans as needed.
- Educate patients and families/caregivers about deficits and adaptive equipment.
- Oversee care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and technicians.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
- Current State of Michigan Licensure in Occupational Therapy.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
