We are seeking an experienced RN to support our OB/GYN practice at IU Health North Medical Office Building in Carmel.

This role is primarily responsible for clinical phone triage, managing patient messages in Cerner, performing non-stress tests (NSTs), administering injections, and coordinating care for OB/GYN patients. Most of the day is focused on triage and patient communication activities within a dedicated office setting.

The clinic team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, and a growing midwifery program. Labor & Delivery and/or prior OB/GYN experience is preferred. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a. m. to 4:30 p. m., with no weekends, holidays, or call requirements. Limited travel to the Zionsville office may occasionally be required.

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
