Job Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care services across various hospital departments, adapting to specific duty assignments.
- Supervise other respiratory care practitioners and provide orientation and in-service education as needed.
- Operate independently, making decisions in accordance with approved medical policies and procedures.
- Analyze lung capacity and blood samples using advanced equipment.
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans, adjusting as necessary based on patient response.
- Document and communicate patient conditions effectively.
- Respond promptly to emergency codes and provide appropriate respiratory treatment.
- Educate patients and families about illnesses and available community resources.
- Manage respiratory care supplies and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
- Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care or higher.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- State of West Virginia licensure.

Requirements
Requires an Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care or higher and a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. Candidates must hold a valid state of West Virginia licensure.
