Seeking a Compassionate Respiratory Therapist in Flagstaff, AZ
Impact to Health is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) who is dedicated to improving patient wellbeing through personalized, in‑home respiratory care.
This role is ideal for clinicians who value meaningful patient relationships, hands‑on support, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference outside of a traditional clinical setting.
You will provide in‑home respiratory therapy, ventilator support, oxygen therapy guidance, and education that empowers patients and families.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct in‑home respiratory assessments with compassion and attentiveness, ensuring each patient feels heard, supported, and respected.
Provide clear, empathetic education to patients and caregivers on ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory equipment, building confidence and reducing anxiety.
Adjust ventilator settings and clinical plans based on patient needs and physician orders, prioritizing comfort, safety, and individualized care.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment with patience and reassurance, helping families feel secure in their home‑based care.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all clinical services and interactions to support continuity of care and patient wellbeing.
Offer ongoing phone support and follow‑up care, providing calm, compassionate guidance during moments of uncertainty or urgent need.
Participate in on‑call rotations and complete home visits as needed, delivering care with empathy and professionalism.
Support the training and orientation of new clinical staff, modeling patient‑centered communication and compassionate care practices.
Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure patients receive safe, reliable, and dignified respiratory support in their homes.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM | On-Call Duties: as needed
Requirements
- Required Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record
- Active licensure in your primary state of residence as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) or other acceptable medical credential (e. g., RC, RN, LPN, LPV) based on state licensure laws
- Willingness to obtain licensure in neighboring states if required by service area
- Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Completion of an accredited program in respiratory care, nursing, or a related paramedical field
- Experience in home respiratory care or home healthcare
- Degree in respiratory therapy or a related science
- At least one year of relevant clinical experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Employment is contingent upon successfully completing a background check, drug screening, compliance onboarding, and credentialing requirements, as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record when applicable to the position.
