Respiratory Therapist

Position Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Services Medical Director and Department Director, the RCP is responsible for providing Respiratory Care Services within specific physician's orders, department policies, and procedures.
- Responsible for providing specialized respiratory assessment and care commensurate with training, experience, and competence to patients with respiratory disorders.
Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist provides specialized respiratory assessment and care to patients with respiratory disorders under the supervision of the Medical Director. They are responsible for implementing treatment plans as directed by attending physicians and adhering to hospital protocols.
Requirements
Candidates must be a graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy. Additionally, they must hold an NBRC certified Respiratory Technician or NBRC Registered Therapist license.
