About the Role

Join UW Health as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Inpatient Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in United States. Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. No holidays or call requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • provide cutting edge research and world class patient care.
  • conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of pediatric patients with hematolo.
  • manage a subset of inpatient heme/onc patients including preparing and signing chemotherapy treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Independently conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of pediatric patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses in the inpatient setting.
  • Primarily manage a subset of inpatient heme/onc patients including preparing and signing chemotherapy treatment plans and orders
  • Perform procedures as indicated such as bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures
