Breast Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Breast Program

We are seeking a Breast Nurse Practitioner (NP) who is passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-centered care from the first abnormal finding through diagnosis, treatment, recovery, survivorship, and long-term follow-up.

In this role, you won't simply support a clinic—you'll become a trusted clinical partner and consistent point of contact for patients navigating some of the most important moments of their healthcare journey.

You'll collaborate closely with breast surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, genetic specialists, navigators, and other members of our multidisciplinary cancer team to provide coordinated, timely, and compassionate care.

What You'll Do

• Provide Meaningful, Patient-Centered Care
• Evaluate new and established patients through comprehensive histories and physical examinations.

Care for patients with breast masses, abnormal imaging, breast cancer, benign breast disease, and treatment-related concerns.

Review imaging, pathology, laboratory results, and diagnostic studies alongside the multidisciplinary care team.

• Partner with physicians to develop individualized treatment, surveillance, and follow-up plans.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care for breast surgery patients.

Manage postoperative needs including wound care, drains, pain management, infection concerns, and other clinical issues.

Educate and empower patients and families by helping them understand diagnoses, procedures, treatment options, medications, side effects, and what to expect throughout their care.

Provide survivorship and ongoing surveillance care.

Recognize psychosocial, financial, nutritional, genetic, and supportive-care needs and connect patients with appropriate resources.

Help Shape a Growing Breast Program

You'll have the opportunity to

• Serve as a trusted clinical resource for patients throughout their breast care journey.
• Help patients with abnormal imaging or newly diagnosed breast cancer access evaluation and treatment quickly.

Coordinate care across breast surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, genetics, navigation, and supportive services.

Participate in multidisciplinary breast tumor board discussions and treatment planning.

Contribute to clinical pathways, protocols, quality initiatives, and continued development of the breast program.

• Help identify opportunities to improve access, patient experience, clinical outcomes, and continuity of care.
• Partner with breast surgeons and other providers to enhance clinic access and patient flow.
