About this role
As a Medical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider, you will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient‑centered cancer care. In this role, you will provide high‑quality care to adults in our Classical Hematology Clinic, including developing treatment plans, managing symptoms, and working closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary hematology/oncology team. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments—such as detailed histories and physical examinations—and supporting patients through complex decision‑making and care transitions. Your work will play a key role in ensuring a seamless, compassionate experience for patients and their families.
- This position includes up to $7,500 in relocation assistance, if applicable
- Your work schedule will be Monday- Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00pm
- Practice Location: LDS Hospital
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support for the Classical Hematology Clinic at LDS Hospital
- Manage treatment clearance and independently evaluate patients
- Oversee patient care with independent clinic in a Team based model with Physician.
- Confidently manage patient encounters through telehealth platforms
- Patient Volume: Average of 8-12 patient visits per day

What you’ll bring
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
- 1-2 years of experience as an APP, strongly preferred.
New graduates will be considered with a cover letter outlining their interest in Oncology and the factors that have drawn them to the specialty.
Hematology/Oncology experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
