The ECMO Specialist is responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the ECMO circuit and related equipment during treatment. They also collaborate with bedside nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to coordinate complex patient care.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). A minimum of 2 years of critical care experience and current Basic Life Support certification are required.
