Job Description

Senior Respiratory Therapist, Night Shift, Respiratory Therapy Department

UC Health is hiring a Full Time Senior Respiratory Therapist for the respiratory therapy department for the varied shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The Senior Respiratory Therapist delivers critical and non-critical patient care services to all age groups using selected invasive and noninvasive techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system, provides respiratory care predominately in critical care areas, and is in charge for the shift, i. e., making out assignments, handling staffing issues and responding to personnel issues.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Respiratory Therapist provides critical and non-critical cardiopulmonary care to patients across all age groups using invasive and noninvasive techniques. Additionally, the role involves managing shift assignments, overseeing staffing, and addressing personnel issues within the department.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program with RRT credentials and hold an active Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner license. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required, along with BLS certification and preferred ACLS certification.
