Senior Respiratory Therapist, Varied Shift, Respiratory Therapy Department

UC Health is hiring a PRN Senior Respiratory Therapist for the respiratory therapy department at West Chester Hospital.

The Senior Respiratory Therapist delivers critical and non-critical patient care services to all age groups using selected invasive and noninvasive techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system, provides respiratory care predominately in critical care areas, and is in charge for the shift, i. e., making out assignments, handling staffing issues and responding to personnel issues.

The Senior Respiratory Therapist delivers critical and non-critical patient care services using invasive and noninvasive techniques for the cardiopulmonary system. Additionally, the role involves managing shift assignments, overseeing staffing, and addressing personnel issues within the department.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program with RRT credentials and hold a valid Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner license. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required, along with BLS certification and proficiency in caring for medically complex patients.
