Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities

  • Opportunity to treat and care for patients with various aspects of Endocrinology and Metabolic disorders, including thyroid and adrenal diseases, osteoporosis, hormonal imbalances and more
  • Work in collaboration with physicians and advanced practice clinicians on the team and across departments; strong mentorship available within the department
  • Focus on seeing patients 18 years of age and older
  • Monday through Friday schedule with option for 4- or 5-day work week; no nights, no weekends, no inpatient call
  • Patient Schedule: Average of 16–20 patients per day
  • Medical Assistant and support staff
  • Growth position in a well-established clinic in Springfield, OR

Required Qualifications

  • Three (3) years with managing diabetes outpatient
  • National Nurse Practitioner certification through AANC or AANP; or Physician Associate/Assistant certification through NCCPA; or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Active and unrestricted Oregon medical license or the ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Current DEA or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • EMR Proficient

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of endocrinology experience preferred but not required
  • EPIC experience preferred but not required

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $113,000 - $173,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will provide care for patients with endocrinology and metabolic disorders, including thyroid, adrenal, and hormonal conditions. They will work collaboratively with physicians and support staff to manage an outpatient patient load of 16-20 patients per day.

Requirements

Candidates must have three years of experience managing diabetes in an outpatient setting and hold a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification. An active, unrestricted Oregon medical license and DEA registration are also required.
