How you’ll make an impact in this role
Assess individual living skills and daily physical function to design tailored care plans that rebuild patient independence.
Deliver targeted therapeutic treatments while continually evaluating, documenting and modifying interventions to ensure optimal recovery.
Guide patients, families and caregivers through comprehensive education regarding adaptive equipment, ongoing care and discharge planning.
Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and support staff to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality patient care.
What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
Bachelorâs degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license from the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners, or eligibility to obtain within 180 days of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or eligibility to obtain within 30 days of hire.
