Job Description

Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA/LBA) - Therapeutic Day Program

Chicago, IL | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM - no evenings or weekends.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total Compensation Package: Valued between $93,000-$102,000.
  • Annual Salary: $76,000–$82,000, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Annual Increases: Annual merit-based increases.

About the Role

As a BCBA at Eyas Landing - Avondale, you will provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and families in our clinic, clients' schools and homes. You'll work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs, supporting their cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth.

Responsibilities

  • Provide caregiver coaching and support.
  • Conduct behavioral assessments.
  • Develop evidence-based individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans.
  • Supervise and mentoring RBTs and ABA students.

Collaborate daily with occupational, physical, and speech therapists, social workers, educators, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB
  • Active Illinois Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license through IDFPR

Experience providing behavior therapy services to children with autism and/or other neurodevelopmental differences

Working Environment and Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift at least 35 lbs, including but not limited to lifting children, therapy equipment etc.
  • Ability to walk and/or run if needed to keep clients safe.
  • Ability to implement behavior management techniques, based on training provided by the company.
  • Ability to use hands and arms to prepare and perform required therapy tasks.
  • Ability to utilize keyboard, desktop, and ipad to complete documentation required for funders.
