Job Description
Position Goal
Provide the highest quality care for patients within the practice and scope of audiology training and licensure. Follow all state and federal regulations for scope of practice.
Position Responsibilities
- Knowledge of Audiology practice and workflow to optimize efficiency.
- Provide for accurate documentation of hearing related patient information into electronic record.
- Provide audiology related diagnostic testing as assigned.
- Assist patients with related products such as hearing aids.
- Counsel patients/family members regarding hearing, communicate instructions with device/aids, etc.
- Work with insurances and third-party vendors for hearing aid benefits.
- Always maintains equipment in functioning order.
- Follow all safety procedures established by the clinic.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for maintaining licensure and ensuring continuation of learning/training credits as appropriate.
- Scan medical documents into charts.
- Order and maintain stock supplies.
- Assist with and provide direct training, supervision and outreach for students.

Experience
Required
- None.
Preferred
- One (1) year of Audiolgy experience.
Education
Required
- Master’s and/or Doctorate degree in Audiology.
- Georgia Audiology License.
- BLS certification.
Preferred
- American Board of Audiology certification/Clinical Competency Certificate.
Special Qualifications
Required
- Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) may be required.
- Must follow established scope and established standards of practice in performance of daily duties.
- Experience with all ages.
- Demonstrate good professional judgement in patient care.
