Medical Director Physician Lake City FL
$300K–$375K | Mon–Fri | 5–8 Hours Onsite Daily | Inpatient Rehabilitation
We are seeking a PM&R Physician or Internal Medicine Physician with inpatient rehabilitation experience to join an established inpatient rehabilitation hospital as Medical Director.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday opportunity offering an excellent combination of strong compensation, flexible daily hours, clinical autonomy, and work-life balance.
- Schedule & Compensation
- $300,000–$375,000 annually, depending on hours worked and patient census
- Monday–Friday Approximately 5–8 hours onsite per day
- Flexible start and end times
- No 12-hour shifts
What You'll Do
- Provide medical management for inpatient rehabilitation patients
- Complete patient evaluations, H&Ps, and follow-up care
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and approve rehabilitation care plans
- Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, therapists, nursing, and other clinical staff
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment
Qualifications
MD or DO Board Certified/Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) OR Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician with inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Active or eligible for Florida medical license
- DEA registration and appropriate controlled-substance credentials
