Coverage Dates
- November 2 - January 29
- Clinic Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Weekend Call Rotation: Friday at 4:30 PM to Monday at 8:00 AM, approximately every 5th or 6th weekend

- Average Outpatient Volume: 25 patients per day
- Average Inpatient Volume (during call/rounding): 20 patients per day

Facility Compensation for Travel Expenses
Includes reimbursement for flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at the IRS standard rate.
Additional Information
- The position requires managing more than 12 patients per day.
- Inpatient coverage is mandatory; candidates unwilling to provide inpatient services will be excluded from consideration.
- Outpatient and inpatient services are covered separately; a provider will not manage both on a single day.

Mandatory Qualifications
- Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology (Required)
- Active South Carolina Medical License (Required)
- BLS and DEA Certification (Required)
- Candidates must confirm availability for 2-4 weeks per month (Required)
- Clean background is essential for emergency temporary privileges (Required)
Key Responsibilities
The physician will manage adult and geriatric patients in both outpatient and inpatient oncology settings, including participation in tumor boards and bone marrow transplant management. Responsibilities also include blood bank oversight, ordering diagnostic tests, and prescribing treatments.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an active South Carolina medical license, Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology, and current BLS and DEA certifications. A clean background is mandatory for emergency temporary privileges, and the provider must be available for 2-4 weeks per month.
