Physician - Urology

The candidate will be responsible for managing a substantial bladder cancer cohort, encompassing cases of muscle-invasive and complex disease. Key responsibilities include:

• Executing radical cystectomy and various urinary diversion procedures.
• Employing advanced robotic surgical techniques utilizing the Da Vinci Xi and DV5 platforms.
• Functioning within a practice that offers in-house Physician Assistants for inpatient management and as first assistants in the operating room.
• Engaging in collaboration within a multidisciplinary cancer program that operates across three states.
• Primarily operating at St. Peter’s Hospital, benefitting from dedicated robotic time slots.
• Participating in clinical decision-making processes, patient consultations, and follow-up care protocols.
• Upholding high standards regarding patient care, documentation practices, and outcome evaluations.

Additional Requirements

• Must be Board Certified in Urology with a fellowship or substantial experience in urologic oncology.
• Possession of a New York State Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
• DEA License is required.
• Must present a clean malpractice history.
• Submission of the most recent NPDB Self Query Report is necessary.
