Join our Primary Care team as an RN Ambulatory Triage Nurse, providing expert telephone triage support for a busy clinic serving 10 providers at our Bloomington location on Clarizz Blvd. In this role, you will assess patient symptoms, determine the appropriate level of care, coordinate scheduling, and deliver patient guidance in a collaborative primary care environment that also includes specialized medical weight management services.

This full-time position offers a Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 a. m. to 4:30 p. m.) with no weekends or holidays, promoting excellent work-life balance. Training is completed onsite, with the opportunity to transition to remote work once competency is established and operational needs allow.

Qualifications

  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
  • Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
  • Requires ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
