Advanced Practice Provider Nurse Practitioner GI Medical Oncology 10hr Shift - Mineola

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner utilizes clinical expertise to plan and deliver safe, therapeutic, population-specific patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, centering the patient and family in the care plan. Responsibilities include working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to develop therapeutic plans, ordering diagnostics, prescribing medications and equipment, and facilitating continuity of care across service continuums.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, along with current NYS Registered Nurse License and NYS Nurse Practitioner License, including prior oncology experience. Required certifications include current Nurse Practitioner Certification and Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association, alongside excellent communication and basic computer skills.
