Key Responsibilities

• Summary: The Program Counselor has the primary responsibility of providing therapeutic program services to Participants.

• The Program Counselor is assigned a specific caseload of participants and monitors the service delivery for them while they are enrolled in the program.

• These services may include didactic, psychoeducational, individual and group counseling, peer awareness activities, therapeutic encounters, crisis intervention and recordkeeping.

• The Program Counselor provides these services within the scope of local certification, licensure and credentialing authorities and in accordance with internal and external assurances and prohibitions.

Requirements

-, reviews the participants file and establishes a preliminary treatment plan.

• Conducts weekly individual counseling sessions with assigned caseload.
