SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR (CoC)

Key Responsibilities

The counselor will facilitate educational presentations, group counseling, and individual sessions while maintaining relevant substance abuse curriculum. They are also responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments and maintaining professional relationships within the field.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Certified Addiction Counselor certification and possess a working knowledge of Twelve Step programs and cognitive behavioral approaches. Experience in a correctional setting is preferred, along with strong communication and team-based skills.
