Job Requirements

- Experience: Epic EMR experience strongly preferred; Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive weekly outpatient OB/GYN clinic coverage every Wednesday from 8a-5p EST at IU Health Tipton Hospital.
Deliver prenatal care, manage low- and high-risk pregnancies, and coordinate delivery planning for a rural patient population.
Perform a wide range of gynecologic procedures, including colposcopy, LEEP, hysterectomy, and minimally invasive surgeries.
Provide consultation and follow-up care, collaborating with the critical access hospital team.
Document patient encounters and manage clinical workflows using the Cerner EMR system, with an upcoming transition to Epic.
Key Responsibilities
Provide weekly outpatient OB/GYN clinic coverage, prenatal care for low- and high-risk pregnancies, and delivery planning for a rural patient population. Perform gynecologic procedures and surgeries, provide consultations and follow-up care, collaborate with the hospital team, and document care in the EMR.
Requirements
Board certification or eligibility and an IMLC universal license are required. BLS certification is required; Epic EMR experience and critical access hospital experience are preferred.
