Director of Nursing

Merakey is seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead clinical operations across
Intermediate Care and Adult Residential facilities supporting individuals with
intellectual and developmental disabilities in Redding and Chico, CA.

As Director of Nursing, you will guide clinical strategy, mentor staff, and
ensure high-quality, person-centered care across multiple sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff across multiple
programs
* Ensure regulatory compliance with state licensing and healthcare standards.
* Partner with program leadership on quality improvement initiatives.
* Serve as the clinical subject matter expert within the IDD leadership team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

* RN Director will lead the RN, and LVN staff statewide for CA IDD Services as
well as perform professional nursing duties including assessment, treatment
and follow through resolution of all health issues.
* Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
* Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
* Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and regulatory
requirements.
* Proficiency in patient assessment, care plan development, and
admission/discharge activities.
* Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary programs and teach nursing
curriculum to staff.
* Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
* 2 years’ experience in community health, long-term care, or working with
developmentally disabled populations.
