Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Parker Jewish Institute is seeking a full time Registered Nurse (RN) Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team of professionals in the Nursing department. The ADON reports to the Clinical Director of Nursing and is responsible for overall responsibility of care given to the patients by the nursing staff.
This is a key leadership role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis.

Position Qualifications
- New York State RN license
- Degree in Nursing or a related field; BSN a plus
- 3+ years of experience as an RN in a medical/surgical, rehab or long-term care environment
- Prior Supervisory or Management experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to lead teams and empower staff
- Communicates effectively with others; is cooperative and helpful
Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall care provided by the nursing staff and reports to the Clinical Director of Nursing. This role involves providing leadership, staff support, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure consistent quality care standards.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a New York State RN license and have at least 3 years of experience in a medical/surgical, rehab, or long-term care environment. A degree in nursing or a related field is required, with a BSN being a plus, along with demonstrated leadership and management abilities.
