Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Chillicothe Correctional Center located in Chillicothe, Missouri.
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff.
Works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve health care of incarcerated offenders.
Qualifications
Must hold valid RN license in Missouri.
Baccalaureate Degree preferred Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active AED/CPR certification Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferred Experience in a correctional, forensic or criminal justice environment preferred Available Shift: Monday-Friday, Days, 8:00am-4:30pm with on-call as needed We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...
