About the Role

Join Shelby County as a Counselor B in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Tracks disciplinary convictions of inmates, conducts disciplinary reviews.

Interviews inmates to identify program needs, reviews program credits and program reviews that result in sentencing credits.

Enters classification levels into OMSe.

Reviews inmate movement/reclassification to move to higher or lower security housing.

Requirements

One (1) year of experience in case management, social work or related experience; AND

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, sociology, criminal justice or related field.

PROOF OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Duties and Responsibilities

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

Call responsibilities required.
