CLINICAL NURSE EDUCATOR

Job Details: Job Location: 1202 E LOCUST - EMMETT, ID, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Day, Department Acute Care Reports To Executive Director of Clinical Services Position Summary Provides leadership for clinical education, orientation, competency validation, evidence-based practice, regulatory readiness, and professional development programs that promote safe, high-quality patient care.

Essential Functions 1. Develop and implement an annual clinical education plan aligned with organizational goals. 2. Coordinate new employee orientation and department-specific onboarding alongside human resources as needed. 3. Develop, maintain, and validate annual competencies. 4. Coordinate Clinical Skills Days. 5.

Coordinate monthly simulation activities with skills competencies included. 5. Administer learning assignments, monitor completion, and maintain compliance tracking through the organization’s educational platform. 6. Maintain education records for CMS, DNV, OSHA, and state requirements. 7.

Lead evidence-based practice initiatives and policy education. 8. Develop and support preceptors, charge nurses, and emerging leaders. 9. Collaborate with Quality, Infection Prevention, and Clinical Managers to address educational needs. 10. Evaluate education outcomes using quality metrics and staff feedback. 11.

Maintain instructor certifications and provide BLS/ACLS/PALS education as appropriate. 12. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor across departments.

Qualifications

Qualifications BSN required; MSN preferred. Current Idaho RN license. Minimum 8 years’ acute and emergency care experience required.

Must have provided direct patient care in a clinical setting within the past 3 years Familiarity with additional clinical areas, including Radiology, Laboratory, Infusion, Family Medicine, and Surgical Services, is preferred but not required.
