Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to physician’s effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed, providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing physician directives.

• Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; and obtaining, updating, and reviewing medical histories.

• Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies.

• Interpret test results of diagnostic tests.

Requirements

• EDUCATION: Master’s degree in nursing. Evidence of completion of an RN program and Utah State Licensure required. OR. Graduate of an accredited PA educational program, including National Certification and Utah State.

• Licensure.

• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Proficient in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, medical history notes, and procedure manuals. Able to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

• Mathematical skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide simple equations.

• Part-Time position.
