Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Internal Medicine;Primary Care

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care audits
• Stay current with medical best practices and advancements in internal medicine

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Active medical license to practice in the state of Arizona
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on primary care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
• Experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• No call shifts
• Patient Census: 18-20 per day
• Patient Population: 75% adult, 25% geriatric
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
