Full-Time Pharmacist - LTC- No Direct Patient Contact

Key Responsibilities

The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while providing pharmaceutical patient care to ensure the highest level of therapeutic appropriateness for patients. Key duties include verifying safe medication administration, assessing critical medications, responding to palliative care prescriptions, and conducting medication regimen reviews.

Requirements

Candidates must be currently licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists and possess proven ability to foster strong partnerships with the healthcare team. Skills in critical thought, prioritization, time management, and self-direction are essential, though previous Long Term Care pharmacy experience is an asset but not required.
