The CRNA administers various types of anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and obstetrical procedures across pediatric and adult patient populations. They are responsible for pre-anesthetic assessments, monitoring patients during procedures, and providing immediate post-anesthesia care in the PACU.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and hold a current Michigan state license. Certification as a CRNA along with current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
