UnityPoint Health - Sioux City provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Sioux City and the surrounding Siouxland area.

St. Luke’s offers a full range of services and programs that includes a state-of-the-art surgical center, Siouxland’s premier birth center, 24/7 cardiovascular care, and Level III emergency department.

In addition, UnityPoint Health - Sioux City is also home to St. Luke’s College which provides high-quality, health system-based education to individuals looking for careers in health care.

Overview

Growing Practice

• Current providers: 4 Cardiologists, 4 Interventional Cardiologists, 2 EP, and 10 Advanced Practice Providers
• Competitive compensation and benefits package including sign-on bonus, retention bonus, relocation, and comprehensive benefits package
• Clinic Hours: M-F 8a-5p
• Good work/life balance
• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities
• 12-16 patients/day
• Occasional outreach clinic coverage
• Shared call
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Provide the best outcome for every patient every time

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available
