Job Summary: The Cardiologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and its functions by: examining patient for symptoms indicative of heart disorders using medical instruments and equipment; as well as studying diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in making diagnoses, prescribing medications and recommending dietary and activity programs, as indicated.

Minimum Requirements: Possession and maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA. Must be a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Examine patients and diagnose and treat diseases of the heart using medical instruments, diagnostic images, and electrocardiogram recordings. Prescribe medications and recommend dietary and activity programs as appropriate.

Requirements

Must hold and maintain a North Carolina physician's license and DEA certification. Must be a member in good standing of the hospital's Medical Staff.
