Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner is authorized to perform specific routine duties on a regular, repetitive basis. These duties may be performed without specific prior discussion with the supervising physician. The supervising physician or his/her alternate will be on site for review of findings and plan of treatment.
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Three years of professional nursing experience. Current licensure in the state of North Carolina. Cardiology experience a plus.
Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will perform routine clinical duties on a regular basis within the Heart Center. They will work under the supervision of a physician who remains on-site to review findings and treatment plans.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school and have completed an approved Nurse Practitioner program. A minimum of three years of professional nursing experience and current North Carolina licensure are required.
