Job Description

Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner is authorized to perform specific routine duties on a regular, repetitive basis. These duties may be performed without specific prior discussion with the supervising physician. The supervising physician or his/her alternate will be onsite for review of findings and plan of treatment. M-F Office based.

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Three years of professional nursing experience.
  • Current licensure in the state of North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner performs routine duties on a regular basis within the heart center. They work under the supervision of a physician who is onsite to review findings and treatment plans.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing and have completed an approved Nurse Practitioner program. A minimum of three years of professional nursing experience and current North Carolina licensure are required.
