TITLE: Collaborating Physician
RESPONSIBLE TO: Medical Director

Summary
Path Behavioral Health, a progressive, client-first organization is seeking a Collaborating Physician for immediate placement to collaborate with up to 5 of our Nurse Practitioners.
Primary Job Duties
- Collaborating with up to 5 Nurse Practitioners
- Reviewing and signing off on at least 5% of notes for each provider
- Effective communication with all necessary parties. Responding to all communication within 24 hours of receiving
- Nurse Practitioners
- Medical Director
- Human Resources
- Operations Team
Requirements
- The collaborating physician must be actively engaged in direct clinical practice in Ohio and practicing in a specialty that is the same as, or similar to, the APRN's nursing specialty in accordance with section 4723.431(A) of the Ohio Revised Code.
- MD License
- Time commitment is up to 10 hours a month
Key Responsibilities
The Collaborating Physician will provide medical oversight for up to five Nurse Practitioners by reviewing and signing off on at least 5% of their clinical notes. The role requires maintaining effective communication with the medical director, operations team, and nursing staff within a 24-hour response window.
