Description
Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for a full-time, permanent, employed opportunity in western New York’s Chautauqua County, near Lakewood. Join an established group providing general orthopedic care, with a preference for adult reconstruction. Adult reconstruction fellowship training is welcome but is not required.
Work alongside two experienced orthopedic surgeons and seven advanced practice providers supporting the office, operating room, and hospital. A strong primary care referral network supports patient volume and continuity of care across regional outpatient locations and the affiliated hospital.
Fully integrated Epic documentation connects the care team. Robotic assistance, planned operating room renovation, and recent radiology upgrades reflect ongoing investment in surgical resources. The practice offers access to a broader specialist network and administrative support.
The listed annual compensation range is $645,000–$731,000, with productivity and quality incentives and a $50,000 sign-on bonus. Student loan repayment, a residency stipend, CME support, relocation assistance, employer-paid occurrence-based malpractice coverage, and PSLF-eligible nonprofit employment add to the comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Adult reconstruction fellowship training preferred but not required.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York medical license and necessary credentials.
- DEA certification.
- No visa sponsorship at this time.
